The "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO reports that on October 8 and 9, an abnormally high temperature background was recorded in the territory of the republic. This is due to the influx of tropical warm air currents from the southwest.

The average daily air temperature is 5-8 degrees above the climatic norm, which is considered abnormally warm. These days became the warmest for most of the republic in the entire history of meteorological observations.
