Armenia, Kazakhstan Sign Raft of Cooperation Documents

Within the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, to Kazakhstan, documents were signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, and his Kazakh counterparts to further strengthen the political dialogue and interaction between the foreign ministries of the two countries, to promote economic cooperation, and to expand the partnership between Armenia and Kazakhstan in the fields of artificial intelligence, as well as in other areas.
Specifically, Ararat Mirzoyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, signed the "Action Plan between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2026-2027."
The Foreign Ministers also signed agreements on the mutual provision of land plots for the construction of diplomatic mission buildings of the two countries, as well as on the transfer, use, storage, and protection of classified information.
Given the great interest in deepening economic cooperation between the two countries and the important steps taken in this direction so far, among the documents signed by Minister Mirzoyan is also the roadmap for trade and economic cooperation between the governments of Armenia and Kazakhstan for 2026-2030.
Among the sectors with great development potential are artificial intelligence and healthcare, and accordingly, the following were also signed:
"Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan,"
"Program of main measures for the development of cooperation for 2026-2027 between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
Among other documents, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Diplomatic School of the MFA of the RA and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan. To promote business ties, an agreement "On the establishment of the Armenian-Kazakh Business Council" was signed. These documents were signed on the Armenian side by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Armen Ghevondyan.
