Armenia, Kazakhstan Discuss 'Crossroads of Peace' Project

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, had a meeting in New York with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of bilateral relations of a strategic nature, including through active dialogue at all levels and the expansion of sectoral cooperation. "We attach special importance to cooperation with Kazakhstan not only in a bilateral format but also in the broader context of expanding regional interconnectedness.
In this regard, the development of transport and business ties is one of our key priorities," Minister Mirzoyan emphasized.
In this context, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kazakhstan exchanged views on the work to implement the "Crossroads of Peace" project, including through TRIPP.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Murat Nurtleu also exchanged views on agenda items for upcoming high-level bilateral visits, as well as on issues of interaction on multilateral platforms.
