Armenia Joins the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague

Armenia officially joined the Permanent Court of Arbitration, securing its place in The Hague's "Peace Palace." According to Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, this step reflects Armenia's aspiration to resolve disputes on platforms where law prevails over force. The court's leadership welcomed Armenia's membership, describing it as the "restoration of a historic opportunity" and providing a symbolic "national chair." In practice, this replenishes Armenia's diplomatic toolkit with a new legal platform.
