Armenia-India Ties Developing Dynamically Since 2019։ Vahagn Afyan

For three decades, Armenia and India have consistently developed high-level political, economic, cultural, and parliamentary cooperation since 2019. This was stated in the congratulatory message of the RA Ambassador to India, Vahagn Afyan, sent on August 31, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and India.

"Reaffirming our unconditional respect, I want to emphasize that in recent years, our cooperation has expanded dynamically, covering areas such as active political dialogue and mutually beneficial expanding cooperation in defense, information technology, education, culture, and trade-economic cooperation. Referring to the recent active contacts, I would like to specifically mention that since 2019, Armenia and India have consistently developed high-level political, economic, cultural, and parliamentary cooperation.

The prime ministers of the two countries have held meetings within the framework of international platforms. Important milestones include the visits of the Speaker of the RA National Assembly, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense, as well as the Secretary of the Security Council, as well as regular participation in prestigious events such as the 'Raisina Dialogue' and the 'Yerevan Dialogue'.

A number of documents have been signed in the fields of diplomacy, healthcare, technology, and investment. Bilateral and trilateral consultations have been held, and Armenia has joined the International Solar Alliance.

The two countries attach importance to expanding trade, technology, and cultural ties while maintaining a regular dialogue on regional and global security issues," the congratulatory message of Ambassador Vahagn Afyan stated, in particular.
