15 NOV 2025 05:38
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the official dinner organized within the framework of the first Prayer Breakfast event of the Republic of Armenia, which was attended by more than 300 high-ranking officials, statesmen, and representatives of diplomatic, business, and spiritual spheres from Armenia and abroad.
The Prime Minister delivered a speech and welcomed the participants of the evening held in the format of the first Prayer Breakfast of the Republic of Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan noted that in his seven years as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, this is the first time he has attended an event of this format, where representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, Yazidi, Jewish, Armenian Catholic, Armenian Evangelical communities, Assyrian, Orthodox churches, Muslims, and people of other faiths are present. In his speech, Nikol Pashinyan mentioned that religious tolerance has always been on the agenda, and this is one of those cases where policies, statements, and decisions, among other things, should turn into concrete human interactions.
The head of the country also added that these interactions are very important from the point of view of getting acquainted with the faith and religion of different religious communities and national minorities in Armenia.
The purpose of the event, organized by Armenian civil society, is to promote dialogue and cooperation, based on Armenia's historical, Christian identity, peace, leadership based on moral principles, and religious freedom. The long-term goal of the Prayer Breakfast is to form a vision and to view Armenia from the perspective of a leading country aimed at religious freedom and well-being, which has a society based on faith, partnership, innovation, and peace. With the Prayer Breakfast event, the Republic of Armenia joins the global tradition that unites leaders to reflect, pray, and find moral solutions to face the challenges of our time.
