Armenia Discusses Direct Los Angeles-Yerevan Flights

On November 13, RA Ambassador to the USA Narek Mkrtchyan had a meeting with Chaitan Jain, Director of International Cooperation at United Airlines. This is reported by the embassy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of direct flights on the Los Angeles-Yerevan route. Ambassador Mkrtchyan emphasized the importance of a direct flight for Armenia, considering the significant presence of the Armenian diaspora, especially in Los Angeles.

At the same time, Chaitan Jain presented United Airlines' strategic priorities, the latest trends in the industry, and operational conditions.

Earlier, the ambassador had also discussed this issue with Bob Letteney, Vice President of the largest US airline "Delta Air Lines," and Ronke Adebiyi, Director of International Relations and Policy, the embassy reports.
