Armenia Can Be a Bridge Between India and Europe, Minister Says

RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan participated in the ministerial plenary session of the "India-Europe Business and Sustainability Conclave" in India. The minister announced this on his Facebook page.

In his speech, Papoyan presented Armenia's attractive investment environment and current major projects, with a special focus on the Gyumri "dry port" project. He emphasized Armenia's strategic position as a connecting link between Europe and Asia.

"Armenia's geographical position allows it to become an economic, cultural, and logistical bridge between Europe and Asia. In this regard, Armenia can unite India's dynamic economy with the advanced markets of Europe, acting as an ideal hub for trade, production, and technological cooperation," noted Gevorg Papoyan.

The minister also spoke about the "TRIPP" and "Crossroads of Peace" initiatives, stressing their importance in promoting regional economic cooperation and establishing long-term peace.
