Armenia, Austria Discuss Deepening Bilateral Relations

RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger. The interlocutors discussed initiatives aimed at the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Austria.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Beate Meinl-Reisinger exchanged views on the prospects of the process of deepening the Armenia-EU partnership. Minister Mirzoyan highly appreciated Austria's support for various initiatives, emphasizing, among other things, the continuous work towards expanding people-to-people contacts and market access.

Reference was also made to the mechanisms of interaction aimed at effectively countering the challenges encountered on the path of democratic reforms. Ararat Mirzoyan and Beate Meinl-Reisinger also touched upon regional developments, as well as issues of interaction on multilateral platforms.
