Armenia Arrives in Dublin for Ireland Qualifier
13 OCT 2025 09:24
The Armenian national team has arrived in Dublin, where on October 14, in the 4th round of the World Cup qualifying stage, they will be hosted by the Republic of Ireland.
It should be recalled that on October 11, in the 3rd round of the World Cup 2026 qualification Group F, the Armenian national team lost 0-2 away to Hungary. After this match, the Armenian team is in 3rd place in Group F with 3 points.
After the match, the head coach of the Hungarian national team, Marco Rossi, answered journalists' questions.
"The Armenian team was a serious opponent, not, as we say, a team that makes 'chocolate Santas.' They are technically skilled, defend well deep, counter-attack quickly, and are effective from set pieces," Rossi noted.
