Armenia and Iran Agree to Build Second Border Bridge

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a press statement with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

He noted that Armenia and Iran have set a strategic benchmark to increase the volume of bilateral trade turnover first to $1 billion, and then to $3 billion.

"We can record that we have actually approached the $1 billion benchmark and are consistently working towards reaching the next target. In this sense, the free trade agreement that came into force between the EAEU member states and Iran provides new opportunities for the businessmen of both countries," emphasized Pashinyan.
