MFA: Armenia Advocates for Swift Signing of Peace Treaty

The signing of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement in the shortest possible time will be a very serious step towards the institutionalization of the established peace.

In response to a question from "Armenpress" regarding the signing deadline, the spokesperson of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan, stated.

"When the agreement on the text of the Armenia-Azerbaijan agreement was announced on March 13 of this year, the Armenian side simultaneously expressed its readiness to sign the agreement quickly.

This approach was reaffirmed on August 8 by the initialing of the agreement, which, as an important event recording the establishment of peace, received wide international support.
