Yeghoyan Discusses Armenia-EU Cooperation with EC Delegation

On November 19, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration, Arman Yeghoyan, met with the delegation led by Io Kerstin Schmidt, the team leader of the European Commission's Service for Foreign Policy Instruments.

Issues related to the deepening of Armenia-European Union cooperation were discussed. Arman Yeghoyan emphasized the importance of EU assistance in the implementation of reforms in various sectors, as well as the role of the EU monitoring mission deployed in Armenia.

Reference was made to regional issues. The committee chairman spoke about the latest developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and presented the process of normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations.

The guests expressed their readiness to support Armenia in the process of establishing long-term peace in the region.
