Anna Vardapetyan Elected to IAP Executive Committee

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, was elected a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) at the IAP General Meeting held in Singapore on September 9. This is reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

The Executive Committee is the governing and administrative body of the IAP. It consists of a President, Vice-Presidents, and 20 members.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia has been a member of the IAP since January 1, 1999. It was nominated as a member of the Executive Committee for the first time.

The Association was founded in 1995 and aims to support prosecutors around the world in promoting the rule of law and ensuring the full application of the IAP standards of professional conduct.
