CEO of Analog Devices in Armenia to Receive State Award

Vincent Roche, the 16th recipient of the RA State Award for Global Contribution in High Technologies, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the global semiconductor leader "Analog Devices Inc." (ADI), is in Armenia to receive his award. The visit, which is packed with meetings and events, aims not only to reward the technological leader but also to inspire the new generation of the Armenian IT community.

As part of the visit, he participated in a joint press conference where he presented his past path and vision. Speaking about his professional journey, Roche noted that from childhood, he was fascinated by the structure of nature and the laws governing the world. "I admired the properties of nature. It was this curiosity that prompted me to seek new knowledge," he said. "Engineering took me from the green fields of Ireland to Silicon Valley," he emphasized.

Vincent Roche will receive the award on October 15. His visit's agenda is full. He will visit Engineering City, where he will participate in the opening of the alley of fame for legends, he will be at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, where he will be awarded the title of honorary doctor of the university, and he will also meet with students from six universities in Armenia.
