US Senate Committee OKs $500M in Ukraine Military Aid

The US Senate Armed Services Committee has approved the allocation of $500 million for military aid to Ukraine until 2028. The document extends the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative until 2028 inclusive and expands the funding for this program to $500 million.

It should be noted that Trump often criticizes his predecessor precisely for lavish allocations to Ukraine, but especially recently has begun to speak more and more often about the need to provide weapons to Kyiv.
