Air Pollution Recorded in 6 Georgian Cities

A significant increase in the level of atmospheric air pollution has been recorded in Georgia. According to the data received, the air quality in six cities of the country currently does not meet the norm, registering high pollution indicators. Georgian specialists, having studied the current situation, have presented the main reasons for the problem.

According to the expert conclusion, an increase in the concentration of solid particles is observed in the air. The specialists clarify that this phenomenon is of a regional nature and is caused by climatic factors.

The main source of air pollution is air currents coming from the external environment. In particular, the deterioration of the indicators is associated with the spread of dust masses penetrating the country's territory from the southwest and southeast, which have led to a change in the ecological background in the mentioned settlements.
