Aeroflot Passengers to Fly on Pobeda, Rossiya Airlines

Passengers who paid "Aeroflot" will fly on "Pobeda" and "Rossiya" airline flights. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, "Aeroflot" had announced partial flight cancellations due to failures in the airline's IT infrastructure and adjustments to the flight schedule.

The airline promises to refund the money of passengers on canceled flights or rebook the tickets after the restoration of "Aeroflot's" services.

As a reminder, the large-scale disruption in the airline's work occurred due to hackers. A group of hackers announced that over the course of a year, they carried out an operation during which they infiltrated the corporate network, gained access to a massive amount of flight history data, personnel control systems, and recordings of telephone conversations within the company.

They also claim to have succeeded in destroying about 7,000 physical and virtual servers.
