800 Million AMD Allocated for Tsitsernakaberd Renovation։ Zhanna Andreasyan

The state has allocated about 800 million drams for the renovation of the Genocide Memorial and Museum. These are large funds that are being directed to ensure that one of the most important places in the country has proper and necessary conditions.

Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan said this at a press conference on August 27. "Both the memorial and the museum will be fully restored to the same appearance after the necessary work," the minister said.

As a reminder, a few days ago, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute issued a statement that about two months ago, the second phase of the major renovation works of the memorial complex and the museum-institute began: the repair of the inclined pylons of the Temple of Eternity and the roof of the administrative building.

During the major renovation of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, both the museum and the memorial will be open to visitors and official delegations.
