3+3. A promising or an outdated format

It was within the logic of conflicting or harmonizing interests that the so-called 3+3 format appeared after the 44-day war. The meaning was very simple: Turkey, Russia, and Iran solve the problems of the three South Caucasian countries at the regional level. They do not allow the interference of other forces from the outside. But the format faced reality from the very beginning. Georgia refused to sit at the same table with Russia, and the Turks preferred to see the Americans instead of the Russians, so Iran was left alone, although it was with this very tool that it was trying to keep the West away from Syunik.
