The Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, Eduard Hakobyan, presented the financial indicators provided for in the draft state budget for 2026 at a joint meeting of the relevant standing committees of the National Assembly, emphasizing the impressive dynamics of the growth of tax revenues.

He informed that in January-September, 2 trillion 13 billion drams of tax revenue and state duty were transferred to the state budget, which is 14 percent higher than the indicator for the same period last year.
This positive trend will be maintained in the future as well. According to Eduard Hakobyan, "in 2025, 2 trillion 690 billion in tax revenues are expected, which is 300 billion drams more than in 2024." A significant improvement in the tax-to-GDP ratio is also expected, which, according to forecasts, will reach 24.5 percent, even exceeding the results of 2023.
Speaking about the SRC's expenditures, the rapporteur noted that in 2026 they will amount to 36 billion drams, 4 billion more than in 2025. The main part of the increase will be directed to the reimbursement of interest on mortgage loans.
