Search and rescue operations at the crash site of a Turkish Air Force plane in Georgia continued throughout the night. This is reported by Turkish media.
As a reminder, on the evening of November 11, it was already confirmed that all 20 people on board, including the crew members, died as a result of the crash of the Turkish military plane on the border of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
Condolences to Turkey in connection with the plane crash have been expressed by Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Jordan, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Malta, Japan, France, Russia, the Netherlands, Greece, Germany, Ukraine, and the NATO Secretary General.
As a reminder, the C-130 military cargo plane crashed on November 11 in Georgia while returning from Azerbaijan to Turkey.
After the plane crash, Turkish President Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with Georgian Prime Minister Kobakhidze. The progress of the search operations was discussed.
