'Leak of the Century': 16 Billion Passwords Exposed Online

BREAKING NEWS
19 JUN 2025 15:00
Leak of the century: 16 billion passwords from Apple, Google, Telegram, and others have spread online.
Hackers have posted with open access the largest stolen database in history: more than 16 billion username/password pairs from well-known services: Apple, Google, Facebook, Instagram, GitHub, Telegram, etc.

The passwords have not appeared in previous leaks: this is fresh, new data. The lists contain accounts of regular users, developers, and large companies. Specialists advise immediately changing the passwords of all accounts, avoiding the use of the same password on different services, and enabling two-factor authentication.
