12 People Hospitalized with Food Poisoning in Armavir

The Food Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia reports that on September 8, the Armavir regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) received an alarm that two citizens were admitted to the Armavir Medical Center with a diagnosis of "food poisoning".

As a result of control measures urgently undertaken by inspectors of the Armavir center of the Inspectorate, it was found that the well-being of these citizens had deteriorated after eating mushroom soup at the "Armavir Garden" public food point in the city of Armavir.

It later emerged that another 10 citizens had sought medical help after eating chicken wings, chicken salad, and chicken pizza at the same "Armavir Garden" public food facility. Immediate measures were taken to sample the food products present at the facility and submit them for laboratory examination," the statement said.
