Trump: After Gaza, I'll Focus on Russia-Ukraine War

In the key part of his speech at the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, Trump announced that after resolving the Gaza issue, he intends to focus on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
"I thought the war between Russia and Ukraine would be easy to resolve," he confessed, showing that this issue is now becoming the main priority of his foreign policy. He directly called on his team, particularly Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his representative Steve Witkoff, to address this issue. Trump highly praised Witkoff's role in the complex negotiations, calling him a "great negotiator." As an example, he told about the meeting between Witkoff and Russian President Vladimir Putin. "I called an hour later, he was with Putin, two hours later - he was with Putin, five hours later he came out. What the hell were you talking about with Putin for five hours," Trump said half-jokingly, emphasizing the exceptional talent of his envoy.
The US President countered his critics, presenting himself as a peacemaker. "Clinton accused me of going to war with everyone, but I tend to end wars, and it seems I am succeeding," he stated.
Concluding his speech, Trump declared that "the golden age of Israel and the Middle East is beginning" and clarified the US foreign policy doctrine: "The US does not intend to start wars, but if it has to, then the United States will win in a way 'that no one has ever won before.'"
